Donate
Support Us Through a One‑Off or Regular Donation.
Your generosity makes a real difference to deaf and BSL communities and their families across Lanarkshire and the West of Scotland. Every pound you give enables us to create a welcoming, inclusive space and provide vital support where it’s needed most.
Here’s what your donation can do:
-
£10 - Covers refreshments for a Social Club evening, supporting connection and community.
-
£25 - Funds a wellbeing drop‑in session for deaf people and their families.
-
£250 - Supports a family event for deaf children and parents, creating memories and reducing loneliness and isolation.
-
Regular monthly donations - Enable us to keep the lights on, maintain the Hub, and pay our dedicated staff so we can continue serving the deaf and BSL communities every day.
Gift Aid Matters
If you’re a UK taxpayer, ticking the Gift Aid box means we can claim an extra 25p for every £1.00 you donate – at no extra cost to you. It’s a simple way to make your donation go even further and strengthen our ongoing work for the deaf and BSL communities.

-
Support Jonathan’s Café during events and group sessions.
-
Organise activities with Lanarkshire Deaf Social Club.
-
Assist our Families Hub, working with children, young people and families.
-
Join our Youth Volunteer Programme – gain confidence, build leadership skills, and make new friends.
-
Learn British Sign Language (BSL) as a hearing volunteer and become part of our inclusive deaf and BSL communities.
We offer training, development opportunities, and plenty of appreciation – especially during International Thank You Day and Volunteer Week!
Volunteering is a great way to give back, meet new people, and make a real difference.

Donating in Memory
Making a donation in memory of a loved one to Lanarkshire Deaf Hub is a deeply personal way to pay your respects, remember, and celebrate the life of someone who has been affected by hearing loss and deafness.
There are several ways you can make an In‑Memoriam donation:
-
Requesting Donations instead of Flowers
You may choose to invite family and friends to make donations to Lanarkshire Deaf Hub instead of giving flowers.
Most funeral directors are happy to support this, including collecting donations at the service and forwarding them directly to Lanarkshire Deaf Hub.
-
By Post
If you would prefer to make an In‑Memoriam donation by post, please send a cheque along with your name, address, and the name of the person you are remembering, so we can personally thank you.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please do not send cash by post.
Cheques should be made payable to Lanarkshire Deaf Club and sent to:
FAO Administration Officer

Online In-Memoriam Donation or Tribute Page
You can make a simple online donation in memory of your loved one via the Lanarkshire Deaf Hub JustGiving page.
You can also create a personalised In‑Memoriam tribute page. This allows friends and family to make a donation, share memories, and leave personal messages of remembrance — offering a meaningful digital space to celebrate the life of your loved one.
Your Legacy
Lanarkshire Deaf Hub is more than just a charity for hearing loss and deafness. We offer love, encouragement, support and reassurance. When a gift is left in a will, we can invest in someone’s future.
We have been supporting individuals and their families for many years, sometimes over their entire lifetime. Support us in continuing to provide a lifetime of care by thinking of us in your will.
NOTE: While we are not able to support you in writing a will, we have a policy in place to describe the process on our side.
